This Cyanoacrylate Adhesive that has been tested by Pat Norris and is the perfect viscosity to make it easy to work with and it is super super strong.
In all my years I have not used a better product for fletching arrows.
I personally get about 85 to 90 dozen arrows fletched with a 2 ounce
bottle.
Formulated specifically to bond metals, composites, and polymers, so
as an arrow maker, you know that means carbon shafts, and plastic vanes.
It even works with aluminum shafts and carbon shafts with tight fitting
inserts. My testing shows it's great for feathers --- just let them
sit in the fletching jig a minute or so. I leave vanes in the jig for
about 15 to 20 seconds.
My cyanoacrylate adhesive is a single component system that bonds two
surfaces together in seconds with out the use of solvents, heat or clamping
pressure with shear strengths up to 4000+ psi.
No mixing is required and my Superior
Fast Set Adhesive is clear and ready to use right from
the bottle. ONE and TWO ounce bottles are much larger than the competitors
tubes and have a great shelf life. Clean the applicator tip of bottle
with a little acetone on a rag before putting the white top over the
applicator tip between uses.
